Who is Mark Leonard?

Mark Leonard isn't a career politician. He's a CA-45 resident, a USMC veteran, and an operations expert dedicated to identifying waste and delivering results.

Mark's commitment to mission success was forged in the United States Marine Corps. He learned to lead under pressure and understands the discipline required to execute complex operations. He brings that same 'service over self' mentality to the representation of CA-45.

Unlike many candidates, Mark is a true neighbor. He lives in the district, shops in the same grocery stores, and experiences the same traffic as every family in CA-45.

Mark learned that real leadership means putting others before yourself. Through service in Afghanistan and the California National Guard, he discovered that unity—not division—is what enables us to accomplish hard things. That lesson from the Marines shapes how he approaches problems every day.

As an analyst, Mark developed judgment: separating fact from noise, basing conclusions on evidence. That work taught him that good decisions require both facts and backbone. He's seen firsthand how overregulation and economic struggle hurt working families and small businesses across CA-45.
